You will learn a basic and beautiful coiled basketry technique called the wrap stitch. You will learn how to start, shape, change colours and finish. You can decide to make a coaster or a small trinket dish. From there, you will be have the knowledge to create larger pieces such as trays, platters and baskets. All quality materials are provided.

This workshop is 3 hours in total.  Class sizes are small (Maximum of 6 students) to ensure personalised attention. Lisa Robertson, creator of Funky Bunny Designs will be your instructor.

DATE: Saturday 8 November

TIME: 10am - 1pm

LOCATION: ‘Bunny & Fig’ studio, M-Arts Precinct, Brisbane St, Murwillumbah

You will be provided with:

·        Hand-dyed and high quality coloured Raffia for the outer core

·         Natural Raffia for the inner core

·         Tapestry Needle

·         Clearly written instructions with photographs

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • The minimum size of a workshop is 3 students. If there are not enough students to fill a class, you will be contacted and booked into a future workshop.

  • There are NO REFUNDS for last minute cancellations unless I can on-sell your place. For cancellations up to 5 days notice, you can book into another workshop OR your material kit and instructions can be sent to you in the post or picked up from the ‘Bunny & Fig’ studio.
